Wire Forming

Wire forming is a process of forming metal wire into products of specific shapes and sizes through various processing methods. The following is a detailed introduction:

Processing technology

- Bending forming: Use bending equipment such as pipe bending machines, wire bending machines, spring machines etc. to apply external force to the wire to bend it according to the predetermined shape.

- Stretching forming: Stretch the wire through the stretching equipment to change its length and diameter to meet specific size requirements.

- Torsion forming: Use the twisting equipment to twist the wire around the axis to form a spiral or other twisted shape.

- Stamping forming: Place the wire in the stamping die, and apply impact force through the punch and other equipment to form the wire in the die.

Application areas

- Hardware products: such as hangers, springs, door curtains, chains, etc.

- Electronic appliances: pins, connecting wires, antennas, etc. of electronic components.

- Automobile manufacturing: the frame of the car seat, the fixings of the seat belt, etc.

- Construction industry: steel mesh, fences, scaffolding, etc. for construction.

Features

- High material utilization rate: Through reasonable process design, material waste can be reduced and material utilization rate can be improved.

- High production efficiency: Suitable for large-scale production, wire can be quickly processed into the required shape and size.

- Complex and diverse shapes: Various complex shapes can be processed according to needs to meet different usage requirements.

- Relatively low cost: Compared with some complex processing technologies, the equipment and process of wire forming are relatively simple and low cost.
