Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication is a comprehensive cold processing process for thin metal plates. It processes thin metal plates into parts or products of various shapes and sizes by cutting, bending, stamping, welding and other operations. The following is a detailed introduction to sheet metal processing:

Process flow

- Cutting: Cut the metal sheet to the required size through shearing machines, laser cutting machines and other equipment.

- Bending: Use a bending machine to bend the sheet after cutting to achieve the shape required by the design.

- Stamping: Use equipment such as punching machines to apply pressure to the sheet through the mold to cause plastic deformation, thereby obtaining the required shape and characteristics.

- Welding: Connect the processed sheet metal parts together through welding technology to form a complete structure. Common welding methods include arc welding, argon arc welding, etc.

- Surface treatment: In order to improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics of sheet metal parts, surface treatment is required, such as spraying, electroplating, oxidation, etc.

Application field

- Machinery manufacturing: used to manufacture various mechanical parts, equipment housings, etc.

- Electronic appliances: such as computer cases, mobile phone cases, TV back panels, etc.

- Automobile manufacturing: automobile bodies, engine hoods, doors and other parts.

- Building decoration: such as roofs, curtain walls, doors and windows, etc.

- Aerospace: aircraft wings, fuselage structural parts, etc.

Laser cutting with the highest precision

Modern laser processes guarantee the utmost precision in sheet metal processing. 3D CO2 laser systems and punching-laser combination systems are used for steel up to 30 mm, stainless steel up to 25 mm, aluminum up to 15 mm and for various plastics.

Round, rectangular and special profiles are manufactured using special rotary axes or pure tube laser systems.

Solid-state lasers are used for foil and fine-blanked parts. Our spectrum in this technology is rounded off by laser welding and laser marking.

CNC precision bent parts

With our punching, punching and wire bending machines, we produce the right bent parts for your project precisely, with precise angles and flexibility. Thanks to CNC control technology, our modern machines can produce a complex wire bent part or die in the shortest possible time, as well as versatile compression, tension or flat-form springs made of sheet metal.

In our punching, punching and wire bending machines, we can process round and flat materials from 0.05 to 15 mm made of steel, stainless steel, aluminum and spring steel.

Precision stamped parts

The production of precision stamped parts and stamped-bent parts is carried out both using tools and using CNC systems. This means we are able to meet every customer-specific requirement precisely, to a high standard and at optimal cost.

In addition to CNC punching machines, we use eccentric and hydraulic presses from 1 - 500 tons and process sheet metal formats and inserts or manufacture directly from strip material.
